Costa Brava -
Lloret de Mar - Hotel Royal Beach
Booked the hotel as cheap May Break but did expect
the worst as I had previously been on the holiday
review websites and they ranged from people saying
it was good too really bad, so we went not expecting
very much at all. We have a nice room, that was
cleaned every day during our week at the hotel.
There was plenty of food on offer for all ages, a
couple of times it was great to indulge in a kiddies
meal, lol. The drinks were ok but the silly plastic
cups they were served in should be got rid of, there
was too many on the tables and big glasses would
have kept the q's down to a minimum. Llorett is a
bout 10-15 min walk with a wide choice of bars. The
beach at Lloret de Mar is very coarse, but very
clean and the fruit sellers are not very expensive. |

Costa Brava -
Lloret de Mar - Apartments Las
Marisposas
Apartments las Marisposas, When we booked this
holiday and looked at the star rating we nearly
changed our minds - how pleased are we now. 2 of us
have just had a great holiday at the Apartments Las
Marisposas with Sunset holidays for under £300
including the flight and the hotel transfer. Clean
apartments and great staff, the room was well
equipped with a kettle, tv, toaster, microwave, and
fridge freezer. The pool was nice and the water was
even warm with plenty of beds at all times. The
bingo and quiz nights were fun as they were
organized by the reps and they did not always go to
plan. Seriously IGNORE the fact this is a 2 star
property, this place is great for a quick cheap
getaway. |

Costa Brava -
Lloret de Mar - Hotel Villa Marina Club
Hotel VillaMarina Club, all inclusive hotel in Salou
- well not actually in Salou but about 20mins walk,
Very enjoyable holiday nice and clean, plenty of
food and drinks. We managed to get an apartment
which are usually for the self catering guests, and
they seemed to be the best choice, they also have
access to their own pool aswell as the pool at the
hotel. We went to Portaventura theme park and got
the tickets in the UK from the net before we went
and it worked out cheaper to get them here, the taxi
there was only 9 euros and was much better than
going on a stuffy coach. If you like football a day
trip to Barcelona and the Nou Camp is a must. I
would recommend the hotel Villa Marina Club to
anyone who wants a base to explore and the facility
to eat drink and be merry for free. |
