Clean hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Delicious and plentiful food. Didn't even want to eat out on my birthday and the picnic lunches they pack on request when out on visits were good too. Brits terrible reserving sunbeds with towels at 7 am in the morning, Sometimes towels stayed on unoccupied beds all day, no wonder the Spanish took the towels off! My son left his wallet and 18 euros next to the computer by mistake and it was handed into reception with all the money still there. Went to a Spanish lesson, archery, water polo and a lesson on how to make Sangria. Recommend the trips organised by the newsagent shop next to the hotel. Went to Gilbratar for the day, reasonable price and a very entertaining guide called Mustafa. Sailed past the queuing cars. Booked with sunset and flew with Thomas cook, nice flight, and a good meal. Never done all inclusive holidays before because always wanted to do our own thing, but with kids we had to make a choice - moaning kids or a quiet time with lots of brits getting drunk. What a shock, great value for money and everyone was well behaved and nobody was overly drunk. The hotel itself is a 3 star, with a beach location, with gardens, a nice swimming pool area and ample sun beds. The food was good and very fresh, with a good, choice of European and more traditional foods for the children to eat. In between meal times there are snack available to help yourself to. The beer was San Miguel, and the local wines that were free in the all inclusive were drinkable, all the spirits though were replacements.
Nice size rooms with a decent size balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. The hotel is spotlessly clean and there seemed to be someone cleaning all the time, a very good value hotel that I will go back to again, the fact that during the 7 days I did not have to hear my kids asking "dad can i have some money for?" was a godsend, it made the holiday for me, and all inclusive is great. '); } // gardenia2
